Does Cash-4-Gold spokesman MC Hammer really have the extra $$$$$$ laying around to pay off a lawsuit?
Hammer failed to follow through on a deal he had with the digital network communications firm PacketSwitch.com back in 2003, in which the U Can't Touch This rapper had agreed to "help market the company" with shares of the firm in return.
PacketSwitch.com were reportedly awarded damages in '03, but Hammer never paid up!
The rapper, whose legal name is Stanley Burrell, claimed the lawsuit was never delivered to him because the legal docs listed his last name as "Berrell".
A U.S. District Judge dismissed Hammer's claim, and the one-hit-wonder is finally being ordered to fork over the cash.
