More Trouble For Lil' Wayne

When it comes to Lil' Wayne and legal troubles, we're no longer surprised.
Now this time around, record producer Darius Harrison is suing the rapper for $2.5 MILLION!
The reason?
Seems Darius, aka Deezle, and The Royalty Network are claiming they're owed $2.5 million in unpaid royalties.
Deezle claims they own the right for the use of Mrs. Officer [...]

Deezle claims they own the right for the use of Mrs. Officer on Wayne's 2008 CD Tha Carter III. They also say they own the rights to any profits Wayne's made due to the sale of ring tones, music videos, and such.

Somehow we have a feeling this lawsuit, which was filed yesterday in New York, won't be the last against Lil' Wayne.

"The Academy has a process that we are following and we are respectfully waiting for them to allocate additional tickets. Of course, Walter Kirn is on our wish list for seats, as are producers and executive producers of our film who do not have seats yet."

Psssh. We're sure that's EXACTLY what happened.

Brittany Murphy's Brother Upset That Father Was Denied Access To Her Grave

This would be upsetting.
Brittany Murphy's half-brother Jeff Bertolotti is outraged that their father Angelo Bertolotti was denied access to her gravesite on Monday to pay his respects. Jeff says:

"I cannot think of a more cruel thing to do to an 84-year-old man. He's on the birth certificate. For an 80-something-year old man [...]

This would be upsetting.

"I don't think anyone from our side of the family is on the list (to visit the grave)…When someone passes, it's a time to bring everyone together, not turn them away."

Since hosts Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin both had the pleasure of working with John in the 80s, it is believe that they, as well as some other cast members from classic John Hughes' films, will contribute to the presentation.

Disney geeks far and wide were a little pissed off last Friday, when the much-anticipated 3-D version of the Disney animated classic, Beauty and the Beast, was suppose to be released in theaters, but never did. During last summer's Comic-Con, that was the big reveal of the presentation.

Disney geeks far and wide were a little pissed off last Friday, when the much-anticipated 3-D version of the Disney animated classic, Beauty and the Beast, was suppose to be released in theaters, but never did. During last summer's Comic-Con, that was the big reveal of the presentation.

So what gives?

Well, the film is just not quite ready yet and the studio has decided to hold off on the movie until next year, when Beauty and Beast will celebrate it's 20th anniversary. No specific date has been released as of yet, and considering the excitement generated over the films re-release in 3-D, we imagine that the studio may do it with a lot of their old films.

John Lasseter, head of the Disney Animation and Pixar division agrees, saying:

"We don’t have any plans yet for further 3-D-izing of our older films, but it’s always a possibility. I’m excited that people are loving 3-D and it seems to be not just a fad, but something that will stay."

We think this is a pretty cool idea and we can think of some of our favorites we would love to see in 3-D.

His story is a sad one to be told, but it just truly proves what an amazing man he is.

Esquire has just released a moving and shocking interview with Roger Ebert about his painful past and his triumphant present

At the age of 67, the movie critic best known for the movement of his thumbs, finds himself unable to speak, eat, or drink. In 2002, a malignant thyroid had to be removed, which was just the first of several surgeries that led to a tracheotomy in 2006 and the total loss of his speech.

But though he no longer has the ability to speak, that doesn't mean he has lost his voice. Roger is still a reviewer for the Chicago Sun-Times and, if we may say so, an engaging Tweeter. He has developed his own type of sign language to communicate as well as a text-to-speech program on his computer.

His outlook: "What else can go wrong?" and so he makes the best of his given situation. During the interview, he writes:

"I believe that if, at the end of it all, according to our abilities, we have done something to make others a little happier, and something to make ourselves a little happier, that is about the best we can do. To make others less happy is a crime. To make ourselves unhappy is where all crime starts. We must try to contribute joy to the world. That is true no matter what our problems, our health, our circumstances. We must try. I didn't always know this, and am happy I lived long enough to find it out."

We agree Mr. Ebert.

Although her miscarriage made her feel "more emotionally attached" to the Woods, she does feel bad for Elin.

"She didn't deserve this, and she didn't deserve being humiliated," she said.
