CBS Films postponed the film once Universal decided to release Zacquisha's Charlie St. Cloud on July 30, the original date for Beastly. Now the movie won't be out until March 18 of next year!

Beastly starring Vanessa Hudgens has been postponed yet again — because of her boyfriend Zac Efron!
CBS Films postponed the film once Universal decided to release Zacquisha's Charlie St. Cloud on July 30, the original date for Beastly. Now the movie won't be out until March 18 of next year!
CBS Films distribution topper Steven Friedlander explains:
"There wasn't much left in the summer that we could move it to, we didn't want to go in fall, and the holidays are for four-quadrant movies. So we figured if we went to March, we'd have some school breaks happening around that time."
Ouch!
It must be a stinker!
