First, we have this whole blowout with American Idol's Adam Lambert and his record reps not wanting him to appear "too gay" in Out Magazine.

Now, the gay kid of Glee is being scolded for admitting he was gay to The Advocate!

Honestly, are people stupid?!

Young Chris Colfer, who plays the resident fabulous gay on the hit Fox show Glee, gave an interview to The Advocate about the show and what it meant to him.

One of the questions the interviewer asked was if he was "out" during his high school years.

Chris' response: “Oh, no. People are killed in my hometown for that!”

So, here we have a great platform for this kid to stand for thousands of young, gay individuals who are in similar situations around the country and what does the studio do? YANKS THE QUOTE!

Fox insisted that The Advocate remove that section of the interview from their website immediately. WTF???

An insider reveals:

“Fox wasn’t pleased. They’re very protective of their young stars. And while the studio is pro-gay, they didn’t want Chris stamped with a ‘gay actor’ label so early in his career. They want him to be known simply as an ‘actor.’”

Outrageous!

First of all, there is no hiding this kid is gay. Sorry to state the obvious, but c'mon! We have eyes!

But, more importantly, the only way to stop people from being labeled through their sexuality is to stop hiding it as if something is wrong with it. You're sending a message out to kids that it is better to stay in the closet if it means to better your career! That's just awful!

Something needs to be said to the folks over at FOX. They are starting to get us angry!
